Hive Group is a fast-growing company looking for an Office Manager to support headquarters and client facility requirements. The contractor will work closely with Hive leadership as well as our Government clients to support a variety of client meetings and business needs held at our facility. This role is responsible for coordinating activities in support of the team and their Government clients. This is an in-person position with Eastern Time Zone operating hours and requires a Tier 2 level Government background investigation. 

Position Responsibilities

Activities include, but are not limited to, performing the following activities:

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of the two Tysons suites used daily by Hive Group and our Government clients
  • Procure supplies and equipment needed throughout the office space
  • Communicate with Hive Group and their clients, providing timely feedback, information, and status updates upon request
  • Plan, coordinate, and confirm logistical support (transportation, badges, security clearance paperwork, audio visual support, etc.) for meetings held in conjunction with stakeholder activities; respond to inquiries and provide information as requested
  • Use approved templates to draft and coordinate meeting agendas; compile inputs for meeting read-aheads and other planning artifacts
  • Manage and maintain the complex calendars and schedules of mid-to senior level executives; resolve conflicting priorities and orchestrate changes to the calendar, as required
  • Support the development, routing, and tracking of routine correspondence
  • Coordinate office administrative functions including office security administration, office space management, processing security clearance and visit requests for personnel and visitors, scheduling office events and ordering supplies

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to support the facility at 8281 Greensboro Drive Tysons, VA from 8:30 - 4:30 daily
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity
  • Positive attitude – demonstrates an ultimate desire to fulfill organizational objectives and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask
  • Ability to work effectively as an independent contributor or as a part of the team
  • The highest attention to detail and commitment to timely deliveries and follow-up
  • Experience with Government organizations is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
