We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Residential House Cleaner to join our team at AMFM Healthcare! As a Residential House Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents. Your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness will directly contribute to the well-being and comfort of those under our care. The Residential House Cleaner (RHC) at AMFM Healthcare will also maintain standards of excellence in the Environment of Care and Infection Control by ensuring that the physical aspect of the client experience is intact and that AMFM Healthcare’s facilities are clean and in good order.


Location: Facilities are located in various parts of Fairfax County, Virginia. Will need reliable transportation and willingness to work all facilities.

Compensation: $18.00-$22.00/hour, full time.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Qualifications and skills required:

  1. Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.

  2. Must have previous cleaning/sanitation experience. Preferably in a healthcare facility.

  3. Must be able to pass a standard background check.

  4. Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED.

  5. Possess valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  6. Physical Requirements: Considerable repetitive use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting, stretching,and handling materials. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The RHC will be assigned projects, based on his/her level of expertise, that include any, or all the following job responsibilities. The individual may also be assigned other duties as needed by their supervisor.

  1. Visit residences to perform a variety of house cleaning duties in a timely and professional manner.

  2. Clean, dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, polish, wax, and scrub restrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, kitchens, corridors, stairways, rooms, windows, ceiling vents, conference rooms, and general living quarters.

  3. Ensure proper stocking and usage of cleaning supplies while using appropriate PPE..

  4. Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities related to cleaning. Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

  5. Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects as assigned.

  6. Ensure waste bins are checked and emptied daily, and move all trash/waste to appropriate disposal areas.

  7. Ensure that restrooms are supplied, clean, and sanitized at all times. Restock and fill all paper towel dispensers and baskets. Restock and fill all soap dispensers.

  8. Empty contents from all refrigerators and clean the inside and outside of all appliances following standard infection prevention and control procedures.

  9. Utilize washing machines or wash sinks to clean/launder towels, cleaning rags, or other items that need laundering.

  10. Routinely monitor supply storage areas, frequently checking inventory levels and requesting additional supplies when necessary from supervisors.
