BIM Coordinator

Chantilly, VA (hybrid)

The Challenge:

We are seeking a BIM Coordinator to join our growing team in Chantilly, VA. Ideal candidates are independent thinkers, self- motivated, communicate proactively, enjoy collaborating within and beyond project team, and thrive in a non-corporate environment and structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to generate drawings based on specific project requirements.
  • Preparation of construction documents, including specifications
  • Project initiation, setting up and establishing new projects with appropriate file structures and BIM standards to meet the clients’ standards.
  • Management of model production and drawing production involving multiple disciplines
  • Advise and provide technical assistance to team members relating to BIM
  • Ensure model and drawing quality control

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an associate degree in computer drafting and design, or, architectural or engineering technology.
  • Multidiscipline coordinating experience with process mechanical systems, electrical systems, civil infrastructure systems and structural systems.
  • Minimum four years of experience with 3D and parametric design and a functional understanding of building information modeling (BIM).
  • Minimum four years of experience utilizing Autodesk Revit software to produce architectural drawings.
  • Ability to utilize Autodesk Revit application to produce construction documents including floor plans, sections, callouts, 3D views, and schedules, in a timely fashion.
  • Autodesk Revit Certified Professional is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Top Secret clearance if requested.
