Job Description

For our LPN position we are looking to hire someone who lives in or near Little Rock, AR. This is a Part-Time position with benefits. An LPN provides clinical support by interacting hands on with our patients, performs lab tests and procedures, directs patient flow, and supports clinical operations.

1. Performs and documents vital signs, lab tests and procedures promptly and accurately. Reports unusual results to Nurse Navigator and/or Nurse Practitioner immediately.

2. Maintains efficient patient flow from check-in through check-out process, including cleaning and restocking exam rooms and triage area after each use.

3. Maintains lab equipment, procedural instruments, supplies, and reports as required.

4. Schedules and compiles patient records. Documents clinical and health information accurately and in a timely manner.

5. Supports the Nurse Navigator and provides assistance as needed with patient and population health management tasks.

6. Assures that patient appointments are made to physicians per the clinical staff.

7. Assures that lab results are appropriately managed through collection (ability to do venipuncture) pick-up, and communication of results, including (but not limited to) confirming entry into the electronic health record. Familiar with CLIA waived lab test as well as Reference lab.

8. Retrieves external clinical data from lab reports under the direction of the clinical team.

9. Participation in quality improvement processes within the clinic and professional lay/outreach education programs.

10. Interacts with patients, staff, and others in a positive, caring, and respectful manner that supports the goal of patient satisfaction and the professional standards of the Clinic and Vigilant Health.

11. Performs medical care duties within the scope of practice.

12. Other duties as assigned.
