General Summary

This role entails collaborating and negotiating with suppliers to procure goods and services vital for company operations. Key responsibilities include identifying suppliers, conducting research on goods, services, and materials, and managing the processing of purchasing orders.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently managing and tracking of orders
  • Formulating pricing recommendations
  • Effective communication with vendors to ensure smooth procurement processes
  • Collaborating with logistic and customer service teams daily
  • Providing updated pricing and substitution information to customer service team
  • Generating purchase orders, monitoring stock availability, expediting orders as necessary, and authorizing payment for purchases
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our network of manufacturers and vendors to proactively address potential supply disruptions and opportunities to leverage our buying power
  • Overseeing an annual inventory


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Relevant experience 3+ years
  • Previous experience in Warehousing/Distribution and/or Healthcare industries a strong plus
  • Critical thinking and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Analytical, numbers focused problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of Finale software a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word
