WR is one of the fastest growing immigration service providers worldwide with over 30 attorneys and 140 immigration professionals working out of offices in Boston, Denver, Los Angeles, Michigan, New York, Oakland, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Monica, and Shanghai.


The Visa Consultant (Case Manager) is an integral part of the firm’s Global practice, working under the Global Practice Manager and Global Partner to implement global mobility processes during case production. The bulk of the Visa Consultant’s time is spent in client interaction and interfacing with local advisors in various countries where the firm’s clients are located or traveling. This position supports our Michigan office, located in Petoskey, and can be performed remotely, in-person, or according to a hybrid model. 


Responsibilities:

  • Learn and implement WR-specific case workflows as developed by Global practice leadership, including utilizing WRapid and other necessary technology platforms daily
  • Under the supervision of attorneys and managers, communicate with clients throughout the case process, including before and during travel
  • Oversee the work of local advisors to ensure that all necessary steps are being taken during the course of each case
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal databases in a timely and consistent manner
  • Develop and utilize an understanding of the global mobility requirements for the countries in which the firm’s clients are traveling, including staying up to date on these requirements as they change
  • Promptly alert attorneys and managers of any issues relating to a particular case so that they may be addressed
  • Consistently utilize organizational tools to manage a high volume of cases at any given time
  • Adhere to current Service Level Agreements (SLAs) specific to each client


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record
  • 2+ years of experience in global mobility or international immigration required
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Clear and effective communication skills, especially in a professional email setting
