Aurora Medical Spa is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Wellness Practitioner at our Columbia, MO location. If you love improving client's lives and have a passion for helping clients achieve their wellness goals, this is the opportunity for you!

Our office specializes in non-surgical cosmetic procedures designed to improve the appearance and well-being of our patients. If you have ever wanted to work in a medical environment to allow more aggressive and rewarding treatments, this is an excellent opportunity.


The Wellness Practioner specializes in developing treatment plans designed to improve the well-being of patients, and is a self-motivated, bright, and energetic individual who maintains a growth mindset, always striving for excellence.


Wellness Practitioners are responsible for:

  • Clinical evaluation of patients considering weight loss or hormone therapy
  • Possess wide-ranging knowledge of all services and treatments offered at the practice to
    evaluate and serve each client’s needs during the consultation
  • Detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of patient consultations, treatments, phone
    calls, and emails.
  • Follow up with clientele to ensure treatment satisfaction and relationship-building
  • Attend continuing education as requested by management
  • Maintain patient/client confidentiality per HIPAA regulations and company policies
  • Pride in personal appearance and a passion for helping patients achieve their wellness
    goals is an essential component
  • Ability to effectively communicate patient education on treatment plans
  • Analysis of patient health and goals resulting in product and treatment recommendations
  • Internal marketing
  • Ensure patient satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times
  • Deliver high-quality treatment experiences to clients
  • Ability to perform all assigned treatments
  • Assist with counting and maintaining inventory

Minimum education = NP, DNP.

Dermatology or Plastic Surgery background highly desired


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Hourly rate (based on experience and education) + bonus
