Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our thriving quick-service, fast-casual establishment.

As the General Manager of Red Mesa Mercado , you will oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient operations, and a high standard of quality.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong leadership by setting clear expectations and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and food quality to exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase revenue, and achieve financial targets.
  • Monitor and control operational costs, including food and labor expenses, to maximize profitability.
  • Train and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold our brand standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee the procurement process to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, addressing feedback and resolving any issues promptly.


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a restaurant, achieving targets, and driving profitability.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food handling, safety, and sanitation.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
