Job Summary:

The 3PL Logistics Manager for Granules Pharma is responsible for ensuring a high level of service is provided to our customers. The role will be responsible for communications between the customer and warehouse management relative to the daily work product, status, and expectations. The role will also have visibility to the supply side and be able to share proactively with the customer in conjunction with customer service to the customer and to the plant.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Monitor and review on daily basis incoming Customer’s POs via EDI /Manual
  • Create delivery schedule plan/dispatch sheet plan for each customer and allocate inventory to send pick list to warehouse to arrange picking
  • Process customer sales orders and generate Packing List to share with warehouse
  • Work with warehouse personnel to ensure orders have been picked and staged as per shared packing lists issued.
  • Coordinate with carriers to obtain BOLs for each shipment
  • Coordinate with customers preferred carriers for pick up appointments
  • Coordinate with customers warehouses for delivery appointments as needed
  • Consolidate outbound shipments load and coordinate with carriers
  • Address customer queries on orders tracking details, BOLs, Packing slips, shortage & overage and returns
  • Negotiate carriers’ rates and contracts
  • Work on carriers consolidation programs
  • For new customers, assist in customer set-up in our SAP & EDI
  • Plan customer deliveries based on their routing guide and requirements
  • Assist and maintain SAP/EDI with new item codes to ensure smooth transition of EDI date
  • Participate in weekly calls with EDI provider to address and resolve any issues concerning customers transactions
  • Send daily dashboard to department head and stakeholders detailing received POs, expected to be shipped and expected to be on back order or canceled.
  • Work closely with Marketing team to assist with requests and provide updates related to customers set up and orders process
  • Improve existing shipping process to ensure customer orders are fulfilled and shipped in full and on time
  • Work closely with Warehouse & Operation team to ensure adequate inventory in stock to fulfill customer orders
  • Work closely with the SCM team and logistics coordinator by calling out any product to be expedited from the port.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned at the discretion of management.
  • Coordinate the domestic logistics between 3PL, manufacturing, packaging, and external warehouses.
Requirements:

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS :

  • Bachelors degree, preferred
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in Logistics position, with 2+ years in Management role
  • 3PL and logistics experience required
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency on Excel.
  • EDI/ ASN experience highly desired
  • Logistics and planning experience required
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of any ERP software (SAP)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Ability to operate in global environment.
  • Self-managing and pro-active.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Experience working in a cGMP regulated environment
