About this job
Our client, a well-known, global leader in audio media, is seeking an 1099 Vendor Master Specialist (AP) in San Antonio, TX. This is a 90 day contract to hire opportunity with initial start onsite, then transition to hybrid (3 days in office)
Job Title: 1099 Vendor Master Specialist (Accounts Payable)
Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid after 90 Days)
Pay Rate: $20.50/hr. + Benefits
Job Type: Contract to Hire after 90 days
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30a to 5p, Fully onsite until after 90 days
Job Duties/Tasks:
- Create and maintain vendor master accounts daily
- Generate year-end 1099 and 1042 reporting
- Review necessary documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Review necessary documents to establish data integrity, reporting requirements, and payment terms
- Solicit Virtual Card enrollment and apply payments created through the program
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable and 1099 experience (preferred in a high volume environment)
- Account reconciliation skills and basic Excel skills
- Customer Service experience
- Skills in excellent organizational, interpersonal, facilitation, oral and written communication
- Maintain highest degree of privacy of vendor master data and strict adherence to PII requirements
