The Housekeeper provides completes daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices and public areas, while ensuring a safe and risk preventative environment within OSHA regulations.

The Dietary Aide is responsible for the following: assisting with preparing the salad bar, maintaining an adequate supply of beverages, ensuring the cafeteria and dining room remain clean at all times, assisting in the preparation and delivery of patient meals and room supplies, operating the dish machine, assisting the cook as required and stocking kitchen necessities on each floor as required.

Qualifications
Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and team members. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions for meal orders, nutritional needs and recipes to ensure residents and patients receive appropriate food. Physical stamina to assist in food preparation and serving meals, helping residents with eating and cleaning up after meals

Additional Requirements: Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor is needed. Detail oriented and possessing strong time management skills is necessary in order to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.

About Hendricks Behavioral Hospital

Hendricks Behavioral Hospital is a state of art behavioral health and addictions hospital that opened in 2021 in the city of Plainfield, Indiana. HBH provides a full continuum of both inpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs for adults with mental health and chemical dependency disorders. HBH provides both inpatient and Intensive Outpatient Programs for adolescents ages 13 to 17 with mental health and dual diagnosis disorders.


Services include free initial screenings, assessments, inpatient and outpatient services, and aftercare referrals. Patients can expect a safe, caring environment with trained staff who will provide outstanding care.
