Our Women's PACU is seeking an experienced PACU Nurse for a full-time position averaging 36 hours/week. Schedule will rotate 3x12 shifts/week.
Our unit is a 32-bay Preoperative and PACU department caring for patients before and after their General Gynecology, Gynecological Oncology, Urological Gynecology, and Robotic procedures. We care for 30 patients a day on average, 75% of which go home same day from the PACU. Our acuity ranges from benign procedures to extensive oncology cases.
Schedule: 12 hours shifts with 1-2 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule and on call requirement. Staff covers .

Job Requirements:
- One year of nursing experience is required; to include at least one year of PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED)
- Previous PACU experience is highly desired
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.
- American Heart Association BLS certification for Healthcare Provider.
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skill and the ability to display a caring demeanor towards others.
Proficient computer skills required.
