Position Responsibilities

1. Lead and mentor a team of data scientists specializing in Generative AI, providing technical guidance and expertise.
2. Design and implement state-of-the-art Generative AI models and algorithms using OpenAI and Python.
3. Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for applying Generative AI techniques to solve business challenges and automate processes.
4. Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI, continuously improving our techniques and methodologies.
5. Develop scalable and efficient codebase for deploying Generative AI models into production environments.
6. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
7. Analyze and interpret data to extract valuable insights and drive decision-making processes.
8. Lead the evaluation and validation of Generative AI models, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and performance meet business requirements.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and business development, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
10. Communicate findings, results, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders through presentations, reports, and documentation.

Qualifications

1. US Citizenship required for this role.
2. Master's or degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
3. 10+ years of hands-on experience in building and deploying Generative AI models using OpenAI and Python.
4. Proven track record of using predictive analytics, forecasting, modeling and data science methodologies in delivering high-impact projects on schedule and within budget.
5. Nice to have knowledge in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques, with a focus on Generative AI applications.
6. Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, with experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow, OpenAI, PyTorch, or Keras.
7. Proficiency in data manipulation, analysis, and visualization using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
8. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases, with experience in querying, extracting, and manipulating data from databases.
9. Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.
10. Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes, including designing and optimizing database schemas.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
12. Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for exploring new ideas and technologies in Generative AI.
13. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
