Seeking a Locums EmergencyMedicine Physician in our state-of-the-art facility currently underconstruction, set to open its doors in late 2024-25.

Shift(s) Description: 12 hours shifts, 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 2p-2a, 7p-7a

Responsibilities:

Provide expert emergency medical care in a new and advanced Emergency Department setting.
Diagnose and treat patients efficiently and effectively, adhering to established protocols.
Collaborate seamlessly with nursing staff, allied health professionals, and other physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, providing timely and accurate medical assessments.
Maintain meticulous and up-to-date patient records using the Epic EMR system.
Participate actively in departmental meetings, conferences, and ongoing educational activities.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency program.
Active and unrestricted Kentucky medical license and DEA registration at the time of presentation.
Proficiency in Epic EMR system.
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications.

ED Volume: 65,000
75 exam rooms
24-hour Cath Lab with no call requirements.
All specialty backup available, excluding Ophthalmology, OMFS, and hand surgery.
