Accounts Payable Clerk

Robert Half is looking for an analytical and organized Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is ready to become an essential part in a team-oriented and rapidly-expanding company located in Naples, Florida. This position is long-term contract / temporary. If you are a collaborative team member with a positive attitude and effective communication skills, then this role is for you.

Major responsibilities

- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

- Perform special projects as assigned

- Help with internal and external audits as required

- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

- Implement full-cycle A/P

- Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail

- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks

- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs

- Competent with spreadsheets and databases

- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)

- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
