Job Description

The Comoto FP&A team is the connective tissue between all of our brands when it comes to financial reporting. We work with our colleagues in Accounting to get the numbers right and with our departmental leadership to get the story right before sharing it with our Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. We love asking questions, learning strategies, and presenting financial data and KPIs in innovative ways. 

In this role, you’ll be an integral part of our team, diving right into modeling and reporting, helping us evaluate future business opportunities, double checking that our forecasts are right, and you’ll get a lot of face time with our CFO and other leaders. We are looking for someone curious, engaged, and loves finance, eCommerce, motorcycles, or all three!

Our next Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Will:

  • Act as the primary FP&A partner on the Brand Leadership Team, supporting RevZilla and J&P Cycles, primarily for the Online Channel
  • Support monthly and long-term financial planning processes by analyzing financial data
  • Perform financial modeling analysis; collaborate with management to review and analyze the P&L, provide recommended actions to management; and measure Key Performance Indicators
  • Support annual budget development through data gathering and consolidating in the financial model and communicating to leadership
  • Supports ongoing financial process improvements by analyzing financial and business information to identify improvement opportunities
  • Provide input for business decisions by supporting the development of financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks, preparing presentations and other supporting materials for recommendations
  • Assist internal resources to plan and analyze business performance by identifying gaps between business goals and corporate objectives
Qualifications

Our next Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Has: 

  • 5-7 years experience in financial planning and analysis roles with strong financial modeling skills
  • Retail industry experience, ideally with a focus on eCommerce
  • Attention to detail with a process improvement mindset
  • Self-starter mentality with demonstrated curiosity to learn new things
  • Expertise with financial databases and business intelligence, software (JD Edwards, Qlik, Spreadsheet Server, Snowflake, and Tableau experience a plus)
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build partnerships with departmental leadership
  • Ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly, work under pressure, and meet deadline requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • High proficiency with MS Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
