We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Sales Team in the role of Sales Assistant. In this position, you will serve as a key contact point with leading distributors, general contractors, architecture firms, and design firms seeking services and assistance related to sales. This exciting role directly supports our rapidly expanding product lines and growth in multifamily and senior living verticals. In addition, the Sales Assistant is responsible for quoting, order execution, and reports to the Director of National Sales.
Location: South Lyon, MI - In Office Full Time
Salary: $ 40,000 - $ 60,000 Dependent Upon Experience and Skill Sets
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact with customers seeking services and assistance related to sales.
- Perform quote & order entry in ERP system.
- Assist with customer identification, qualification, credit establishment, order entry, inventory control and product transportation logistics.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive product knowledge base.
- Communicate and coordinate price levels with customers.
- Understand and sell to the organization’s capabilities and specifications.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and the manufacturing facilities, providing timely and accurate information to both.
- Coordinate customer orders with production, logistics and sales management.
- Investigate and negotiate a resolution for customer problems (e.g. shipping delays, billing disputes, quality problems).
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience of Inside Sales, Customer Service Sales, or comparable experience.
- High proficiency in Excel and good experience with other ERP / Office software.
- Self-motivated personality with good communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and focused on accuracy entering quotes and orders.
