CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer Summary: As a CNC Programmer your primary responsibilities would be centered around writing programs for computer-numeric controlled 3 and 4 axis mills and lathes.

Shift: Monday-Thursday: 4-10 hour shifts with a 3 day weekend

Responsibility Summary – CNC Programmer:

• Write CNC programs through utilization for Fanuc Macro B, MasterCam and Autodesk Solidworks.
• Create documented procedures for machine set-ups and ensure the process is followed accurately.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase throughput and reduce downtime.
• Perform quality checks on produced parts to ensure programs are functioning as intended.
• Train new staff members on CNC machine setup and operation.
• Tool new fixtures as needed.

Qualification Summary – CNC Programmer:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of CNC programming and set-up experience
• Software proficiency in MasterCam and Solidworks.
• Knowledge of G+M codes and GD&T
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications – CNC Programmer:

• Secondary education in a machining related field of study
• Experience with Vericut
• Fanuc Macro B knowledge
