Job Overview

As a Medical Assistant specializing in Contour Light Weight Loss Therapy, you will play a crucial role in supporting the medical staff and assisting in the implementation of weight loss treatment plans. This role involves working closely with patients undergoing contour light therapy, ensuring their comfort, safety, and providing essential medical support.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:
   • Greet and prepare patients for contour light weight loss therapy sessions.
   • Educate patients on the contour light therapy process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
   • Ensure patient comfort during sessions and provide assistance as needed.
2. Administrative Tasks:
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting relevant information from each session.
   • Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar for contour light therapy sessions.
   • Handle patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
3. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to coordinate patient care.
   • Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
4. Technical Assistance:
   • Assist in setting up and operating contour light therapy equipment.
   • Monitor patients during sessions, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
   • Report any technical malfunctions or issues with equipment to the appropriate personnel.
5. Health Education:
   • Provide basic information on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support weight loss goals.
   • Assist in organizing educational materials and resources for patients.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of weight loss principles and contour light therapy is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lifting and positioning of patients when necessary.
• Manual dexterity for handling medical equipment.
