Under supervision of the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team’s Co-Responder Team, provide peer-to-peer services to consumers, assisting them to achieve their recovery goals and divert from jail and a more restrictive environment. Assist consumers with linking to appropriate internal and external services and navigating systems essential to recovery and growth. Establish and develop appropriate consumer relationships of trust, hope, and empowerment by sharing own lived experiences to facilitate achievement of consumers’ recovery goals. Models recovery achievements and supports persons served with their recovery efforts. Assists persons served in developing communication, social, problem-solving, and self-help skills. Participates in recovery individual and group sessions. Provide community outreach as requested. Provides peer support services as outlined in the Texas Administration Code and current state guidelines for persons with persistent and severe mental illness in accordance with the philosophy, goals and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Ensure clinical documentation is submitted in accordance with TCC standards and meets all designated requirements. Other duties as assigned. Operates under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented models of care which align with CCBHC standards.
