  • Define financial and process requirements: Define product requirements, prioritize features, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases. Monitor product performance, analyze metrics, and iterate based on customer feedback and market dynamics.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape related to small business technologies. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities for differentiation and strategic positioning.
Qualifications:
  • Business and Technical Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. A solid understanding of small business accounting processes. Deep understanding of QuickBooks and similar small business accounting systems is required.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a deep understanding of customer interaction and the ability to build strong relationships. Strong empathy for customer challenges and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Product Management Expertise: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in product management, including defining product requirements, roadmap development, and successful product launches. Participation in competitive analysis, sales training, support training, and webinars is a plus.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Strong presentation skills to effectively convey product value propositions and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
