Production Manager
A global industrial mineral and logistics leader is seeking a driven Production Manager to join their team based out of Lovelock, NV. This is an onsite opportunity. The Production Manager will play a crucial role in guiding, organizing, and directing the hourly workforce, ensuring optimal plant operations, and maintaining a culture of accountability and excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Guide, organize, and direct the hourly workforce to meet or exceed safety, operational, and quality goals.
  • Ensure proper operation of stationary and mobile equipment in accordance with best practices.
  • Lead long-term planning efforts including projects, process development, budgeting, and operational schedules.
  • Train and maintain quality, safety, environmental, and health programs, including audit and development activities.
  • Collaborate with maintenance to plan and schedule operations to meet sales requirements.
  • Perform administrative duties such as planning, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Assist the Plant Manager with the development and execution of capital and annual budget plans.

Must-Have for the Production Manager:
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED with seven years of progressively responsible experience in production management.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in an industrial production environment. Leadership skills are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel and Word.
  • Solid background in Operations planning programs like JD Edwards.
  • Engineering background in manufacturing preferred or equivalent experience as Operations Supervisor in a similar field.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively with a diverse range of personalities to achieve continuous improvement.
