Job Title: Junior Outreach Coordinator – Carolina

ABLE Kids is a leading provider of specialized services for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Our mission is to empower children and their families by providing high-quality, individualized treatment and support services.

As a Junior Outreach Coordinator at ABLE Kids, you will play a vital role in our mission to reach and serve children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. As a key member of the outreach team, you will work to develop and implement strategies to increase awareness of our services and expand our reach within the community.

This position is located in Columbia, SC, with some travel to clinics outside of the Columbia area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in developing outreach strategies to target relevant community organizations, schools, and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging outreach materials, including brochures, presentations, and online content.
  • Support the planning and execution of outreach events, such as informational sessions, workshops, and community fairs.
  • Conduct research to identify potential partnership opportunities and community resources.
  • Establish and maintain contacts for the purpose of recruiting clients – Military installations EFMP Coordinators, Pediatric Doctor’s Offices, Hospitals, Mental Health Practitioners, Community Advocates, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating databases of community contacts and outreach activities.
  • Respond to inquiries from community members and provide information about special needs services.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of outreach efforts, including tracking engagement metrics and feedback from stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of outreach efforts with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain client waitlist for each clinic.
  • Complete initial intakes / 1st authorization.
  • Communicate quarterly updates to parents.
  • Provide local school options and special education program information to parents.
  • Coordinate with contacts to provide additional resources that serve special needs kids to parents.
  • Attend expos and info fairs and meet with local agencies to educate about services offered.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required - Some college preferred.
  • TEAM PLAYER
  • Previous experience in outreach, community engagement, or marketing preferred.
  • Positive and Outgoing Personality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop relationships with sources in the Autism community.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for serving children with autism spectrum disorder and their families.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM software a plus. Experience with Monday.com, Central Reach, and insurance platforms also a plus.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Valid driver's license, clean MVR, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally as needed. Travel 50% of the time to clinics in your area. GA, SAV, ATL, AUG, NC Charlotte SC Greenville Columbia
  • 50 % travel required

  • 8 hour shift Monday - Friday 8:00 am -4:30 pm

Location:

Carolina – this position will work of a clinic in the Columbia or Greenville area, while serving all clinics in South Carilina and North Carolina.

Annual Salary - $40,000
