Position Summary: To educate consumers and existing clients about our company and our products in a manner that leaves a favorable impression, thereby obtaining sales for the company that are competitive and profitable.

Work Hours: 40+ hours per week, including Saturday appointments

Pay Scale: Base + Commission, targeted yearly compensation $100k+ !!!

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven record of successful prior outside sales experience
  • Experience in HVAC or a similar industry is desired but not required
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Ability to work evenings and Saturdays
  • Well-organized and ability to work independently

Main Job Responsibilities:

  • Keep appointments with customers as scheduled
  • Ask customers for permission to stake a job site sign when the job is sold
  • Inform customers of all special promotions, rebates, and the benefits of high-efficiency equipment and optional equipment and products
  • Offer financing on all proposals
  • Present a proposal at the time of the first call if possible; always present the proposal in person, and never mail or fax this to the customer
  • Give sales presentations, as outlined in the company selling process, using the company presentation book
  • Return to completed jobs for quality checks, ask for referrals and hang door hangers, pick up a yard sign
  • Upload all required sales data collection forms, notes, drawings, pictures, quotes, etc., in company software at the time of working up a proposal
  • Log, track, monitor, and follow up on all sales calls daily as your personal sales success tool
  • Be available to answer questions that may arise
  • Perform heating/cooling load calculations
  • Other duties as assigned
