Requirements:
DEVOPS Engineer
DescriptionRequirements:
- Background in one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, Pig/Hive. (Ruby on Rails is highly desirable)
- UI / UX experience
- Knowledge of operation of vulnerability assessment tools, such as Tenable Security Center or Beyond Trust Retina and endpoint security tools such as - McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, Symantec Protection Suite, Microsoft Defender ATP desirable.
- Linux administration experience in a medium to large enterprise is a plus
- Understanding of Security configuration and compliance settings , Active Directory & LDAP authentication configuration and troubleshooting experience
- Knowledge of at least two of the following databases and automated authentication methods :
- PostgreSQL
- Microsoft SQL Server
- MySQL
- Oracle
- Experience with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or PowerShell tools and Splunk
Requirements:
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting DHS Agencies
- Ability to demonstrate and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Able to clearly communicate with both customers and teammates and provide recommendations for improvements to existing software applications
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT security and programming
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related combination of education and experience technical field is required
