HR Generalist

We are a small Automotive business, located in Salem, specializing in logistics services and complex assembly services, including full vehicle assembly. We serve the MACK truck plant in Salem since 2019 and are steadily expanding.

Our HR Department is looking for your expertise as an HR Generalist!

As the HR Generalist, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR duties such as: policy implementation, and employee relations. Specifically, you will...

• Act as point of contact for employee questions regarding policies and benefit administration.
• Interact with, and supply information to employees and department heads.
• Handle employee relations issues and exit interviews in conjunction with managers and supervisors as applicable.
• Manage department reporting and analytics.
• Lead, report, adjudicate investigations.
• Advise supervisors and managers on best practices in various HR situations.
• Develop and lead successful employee engagement, retention programs.

You will be successful in this role, if you...

• Have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with strong problem-solving skills.
• Take pride in and care with confidential information and handle sensitive situations with the appropriate amount of discretion.
• Are capable of gaining others' trust and building a strong relationship with management in a consultant and advisor role.
• Have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in HR of at least 8 years.
• Have at least 5 years of professional HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Are an expert in federal and state laws and have working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
