Service/Line Crew Foreman

FIRST REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS: MARCH 18, 2024

DUTIES: Performs field supervisory-level duties related to installation, maintenance and repair of transmission and distribution power lines and equipment essential to the delivery of electric utility service under the general supervision of the Electric Distribution Superintendent.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of Lineman Apprentice program and possession of a certificate of Journeyman Lineman status. AND Experience: Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical services, including underground and overhead systems. OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses/Certifications: Must have a U.S. Department of Labor Certification or its equivalent at the journey line worker level. Must have a valid Utah Commercial Driver's License. Shall be pole climbing certified, bucket truck rescue certified, pole top rescue certified, CPR Certified and AED Certified Special Requirements: Must be generally available and respond to emergency "call-outs" at any time of day, year-round, regardless of weather conditions. Must take troubleshooters responsibility several times a year as determined by and assignment scheduled adopted by the Power Department. Must be able to respond to emergency call-outs within 20 minutes.

SALARY: $51.99 to $64.98 per hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.

SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week. M-TH, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evenings, weekends and holidays will be required in the event of emergency situations.
