DescriptionZen Strategics, a niche Cyber Security Firm, is looking for a DEVOPS Engineer
· Demonstrated experience with the security features of the Microsoft 365 platform, such as hybrid identity solution, endpoint protection and information protection
· At least 2 years' experience supporting M365 suite of applications and knowledge of domain and mail routing
· Demonstrated experience with endpoint management via modern MDM platforms such as Intune
· Demonstrated understanding of the Zero Trust principles in general and how they apply to the M365 platform
· Knowledge of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies)
· Knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Java, Node.js, JSON, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby on Rails, Pig/Hive highly desirable
Requirements:
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting DHS Agencies
- Software development practices like DevOps , DevSecOPs and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
- Familiarity with macOS security and management frameworks, and integration into Windows-based enterprise networks
- Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE etc.
- Ability to demonstrate and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Able to clearly communicate with both customers and teammates and provide recommendations for improvements to existing software applications
- Experience working in an agile development environment
Years of Experience:
- 7 years of experience in engineering, developing and deploying IT systems. At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Engineer on the M365 platform of services
Education: Master’s degree in a technical discipline desired. Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field is required
Certifications: · Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate certification highly desired· Any other M365/Azure role-based security certifications, such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Management Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator are a plus
Location: This position may be staffed at the Government’s facility in Williston, VT or in the Washington, DC area, or other locations in the United States with approval by the Government
Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Government Agency clearance. DHS EOD is a major plus
