The Inventory Control & Logistics Associate reports to the Inventory and Logistics Manager, and will be responsible for working closely with the Production, Retail Managers, and Logistics Team Members to ensure that all parties and systems are aligned on a daily basis. This role, based in Charlton, MA, will have the schedule of Wednesday - Saturday, between the hours of 6a - 6p, four 10 hour days. With a scheduled full weekend once every 4 weeks. (Schedule is Wed, Fri-Sun for that week)

As an Inventory Control and Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Understanding the demand flow of inventories between locations and allocating product(s), kegs & merchandise to each location based on projected sales volume.
  • Coordinating with the Packaging Team(s), Logistics Team, and Retail Teams to ensure inventory is packaged, transferred between locations, active and enabled in all point of sale systems and are reflected in opening balance inventories in the company’s software-driven storefronts.
  • Performing daily inventory reconciliation of packaged products, draft/keg inventory, spirits/canned cocktails and merchandise across our locations to prevent overselling and maintain all necessary regulatory compliance. Monitor product age closely, partnering with the production teams to enact sensory evaluations to ensure aging/unsatisfactory items are pulled from sale.
  • Collecting product descriptions, imagery, pricing, and daily product limits for new listings to create and enable in the Company’s order platform(s) by location, and communicate this among all stakeholders for daily fulfillment.
  • Coordinating with our Retail Assistants and Warehouse Team Members to support, monitor and bring Inventory builds, and transfers to completion.
  • Driving sales through online store product placement and creative product creation (Mix Packs, Bundles, etc…)
  • Daily maintenance and updating of all functioning spreadsheets, google docs and inventory manuals to support the continual refinement of all inventory and logistics processes.
  • Supporting retail supply stock and ordering by maintaining accurate inventory of supplies and advising when ordering of additional supplies is required.
  • Supporting in the absences of our Technology Coordinator with amending the website regularly to list current information regarding hours of operation, food truck schedule, special announcements, etc.

Role Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of relevant full-time work experience in a role or roles requiring a progressive approach to problem solving; can-do, positive attitude; and an eagerness to regularly take on new challenges
  • Ability to obtain your Mass DOT Medical Card within the first 60 days of employment (Cost to obtain the card is paid for by Tree House Brewing)
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Solid grasp of MS Excel or Google Sheets and able to create digestible data on the fly
  • Hands-on experience with certain inventory and/or product management software(s) is a plus but not necessary.
  • Desire to learn basic logistics, shipping and receiving and gain a basic knowledge of fleet maintenance.
  • Excellent time-management and organization skills
  • Ability to own and hold sensitive information in the strictest of confidence
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
  • You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard-working attitude
  • A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
  • Ability to multitask and work professionally in time-sensitive situations
  • Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to both give and receive feedback.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • BS degree or equivalent experience in Management Information Systems, IT, Operations, Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, etc… a plus
