Job Title: Dandori (Material Handler)

Department: Production Control - 2050

Reports To: Production Control Supervisor

Direct Reports: None

Status: Hourly Non-exempt - Indirect Labor

Shifts Work Hours based on location:

- B28 location: 12-hour shift for 3 consecutive day during the work week.

A and B Shifts - 6:00am – 6:30pm

C and D Shifts – 6:00pm – 6:30am

- Applewhite location: 8-hour shift Monday through Friday

Shift – 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift


Job Summary:

The Dandori TM is responsible for moving finished good to warehouse. TM ensures that the finished goods are scanned into inventory system that RAG uses. Safety is key factor in this role as Dandori TM. TM will utilize electric pallet jack, fork truck and or tugger to bring empty totes to presses and also transport finished goods to proper location(s). 5’s in the plant is key to our success, TM will also maintain empty totes area as designed to the lay out. Communication is key as TM will be working with various departments at the plant.TM will always adhere to SWI for this role, the TM will learn and understand customer’s expectations. Dandori will also escalate any issue’s to their TL and or supervisor.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:


• Monitor presses and supplied with totes and racks as required.

• Ensure correct Kanban cards are used for product produced.

• Ensure proper scanning of Kanban cards to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Working knowledge of a Zebra Carrying Case for Handheld PC.

• Ensure delivery of finished goods are in proper locations.

• Perform 5s every day.

• Follow correct order selectin process.

• Prioritize and organize items in sequence.

• Other duties may be assigned.



Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:


Education:

• High school diploma or GED

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of material handling or order selecting or warehouse experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Forklift Driver certification preferred.

• Forklift Training assessment is available after 2 months of employment with Company.

Computer Skills:

• Use of a scanning gun to scan toots come off the production line.

Mathematical Abilities:

• Basic math skills.

Analytical or Reasoning Abilities:

• Minimal analytical, planning skills and critical thinking ability required with orientation for continuous improvement.

Communication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning)

• Ability to read, write and speak English.

• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.

Other Skills (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities)

• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a variety of projects and tasks.

• Takes initiative, approaches others in a positive and constructive manner, and works well independently to achieve results.



Physical Requirements


• 100% of the time will be spent on the production plant floors walking, standing and engaged in the activities associated with the role.

• Be comfortable with lifting, squatting, and repetitive motion.

• Must be able to team lift a minimum of 50 pounds, 25 pounds alone.

• Be able to work in an environment that is climate controlled but is exposed to potential heat, rain, and cold.
