The Staff Pad has partnered with a community health center outside of Tucson, Arizona. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clients organization that has been recognized as a "National Quality Leader" by the US Department of Health and Human Services.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate excellent patient/client relations skills, e.g.,
  • Respond to requests for assistance from colleagues in a positive, helpful manner
  • Assist with ensuring narcotics logs are kept up to date. Responsible for assisting with weekly narcotic counts.
  • Responsible for ensuring sterilization equipment machine checks are completed on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for ensuring needed supplies are ordered and stocked as needed.
  • Utilizes the nursing process and accepts responsibility in the administration of direct nursing care to patients in accordance with nursing/clinic policies, procedures and standards according to the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory agencies. Acts as a resource to co-workers.
  • Obtains data necessary to deliver quality patient care from patient history, vital signs, charts, interviews, observations, physical assessment, etc., while assuring the safety, comfort and well- being of the patient.


Requirements

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.


EXPERIENCE:

One year of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting preferred.


CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

Possession of a current State of Arizona Registered Nurse license.

CPR certification.

ACLS or PALS certification preferred.
