Mount Indie is looking for a Capture Manager in Washington, D.C. who will serve as a leader supporting the management and strategy lifecycle on targeted captures including leveraging strategic government-wide acquisition contracts, multiple award, and sole source contracts. In this role you will identify and win executable business for Government clients through applying expertise across the business development life cycle, from opportunity qualification through strategic capture and proposal development to award. You will work to deliver innovative communications, networking, and computing solutions for U.S. defense agencies that improve the sharing of information among warfighters distributed throughout airborne, maritime, and ground environments.


What youll do:

  • Develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts
  • Develop and implement market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, and strategic planning efforts in expanding opportunity portfolios and pipelines
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, keep the business leadership team informed, and engage in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners


We are looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Minimum eight (8) years experience leading capture of system development and production work and developing complex technical solutions for government and related industry stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with DoD acquisition and proposal process
  • Minimum three (3) years experience with direct management of complex solutions and development capture efforts for defense community and government clients
  • Ability to develop professional engagement materials, including whitepapers, presentations, and media
  • Understanding of and experience with DoD Contracts
  • Ability to quickly demonstrate strong leadership throughout the capture process for internal and external stakeholders
  • US Citizen
  • Active US Secret Clearance or willingness and ability to obtain US Secret Clearance
