Our electric utility client in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Right of Way Project Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have great communication, problem solving skills and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Right of Way Project Manager
Location: Tulsa (hybrid 3 days on site)
Pay Range: $32.14-$37.85/hr
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend/convert)

*This is an office position with 10% travel to site locations

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing multiple projects or program area of projects related to the successful installation of transmission line and/or transmission or distribution substation facilities
  • Collaborating in scope completion and creation of estimates, along with managing the ROW acquisition include the monthly facilitation of meetings for status (along with creation and updating monthly project cost budgets and project schedules)
  • Develop relationships and effectively communicate with all stakeholders including internal customers, external customers, team members, suppliers, contractors, vendors, and industry peers
  • Provide guidance, coordination, and instruction to initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control, and close projects in a safe and efficient manner to complete projects on time and within budget
Requirements
  • Experience with non-environmental permitting (railroad, highway, etc.) required
  • Experience in creating scopes, budget and schedules, and manage direct project teams comprised of non-direct reports of contract resources.
  • Knowledgeable in GIS Mapping systems and databases
  • Knowledgeable in real estate values and accepted estimating practices
  • Act as an expert witness, assist and confer with legal counsel and project management in the selection of witnesses and commissioners in connection with condemnation and/or other court actions.
  • Properly review maps, drawings and surveys.

Trans Right of Way Associate/PM up to $32.14
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, engineering, project management or related applicable field is required with 1+ years of related experience
Trans Right of Way/PM up to $37.85
  • Associates degree plus 3 years related experience; OR, Bachelor of Science degree plus 2 years' related experience. Related experience can include work in project management, business management, construction management, law, real estate or electric transmission and/or distribution right-of-way. Possessing a professional certificate (i.e., IR/WA, SR/WA, PMP, etc) and prior experience in a leadership position and/or project management a plus.
