Overview:

The Spa Locker Attendant is responsible for providing personal service, stocking the spa amenities and product areas, and orientating guests to the spa facilities. 

 

 

Responsibilities:
  • Embrace and practice Spa Lilliana’s Guest Service Standards. 
  • Monitor the spa locker room, treatment room area, boutique, and relaxation room for safety and cleanliness 
  • Aid guests utilizing the spa. 
  • Check guests into the spa area by issuing keys, robes, & slippers. 
  • Check guest schedules on the computer. 
  • Maintain a safe, full-stocked, clean, and neat work area. 
  • Remove dirty linens and restock with clean fresh linens. 
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate levels of linen inventory in the spa. 
  • Assist in the preparation of products and equipment for spa services. 
  • Provide tours and spa information to guests. 
  • Read communication boards, logs, and memos before the beginning shift. 
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings and training sessions. 
  • Liaison between the guest and the spa service provider, facilitating communication. 
  • Come to work in appropriate uniform, with proper grooming. 
  • Arrive at work at the time listed on the schedule. 
  • Use telephone procedures as dictated by Spa Standard Operating Procedure. 
  • Maintain a friendly and cooperative attitude toward your fellow staff members and guests. 
  • Report unsafe conditions to management and fill out a maintenance request for equipment in need of repair 
  • Report accidents immediately. 
  • Do not solicit gratuities or comment on the amount of gratuity given. 
  • Adhere to the Walton County municipal code and the laws of Florida. 
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. 
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. 
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. 
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. 
  • Attend all hotel-required meetings and training. 
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Highgate Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel. 
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform. 
  • Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. 
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. 
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary. 
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives. 
  • Must be able to cross-train in other hotel-related areas. 
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information. 
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs. 
  • Perform other duties as requested by management. 
  • Always maintain a friendly and warm demeanor. 
  • Hygiene is key in this environment due to the proximity of working with the clients.  At no time is cigarette smoke allowed to be on the hands, clothes, or breath of a spa employee during a shift. 
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required. 
  • Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. 
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1-year experience in a spa or related field preferred. 
  • At least 1-year of retail experience preferred. 
  • Bi-lingual preferred.
