Special Education Teacher | Portland, ME

ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district in Portland, MEwho is in need of an onsite Special Education Teacher for the 23/24 School Year!

Job Type:

Full time position!
Elementary or Middle school caseload
Monday - Friday
Zoom interview
Starting Pay $33/hr
District Programs:
-Breathe (social/emotional needs) around 10 students
Elementary
Middle school
-Beach (ASD self-contained) max of 6 students
Middle school-5 students
Elementary (k-2)
- long term sub position
-Bridge (functional life skills) 5-10 students
Middle school
High school

Duties:

Create and implement individualized plans for each student relating to the core curriculum
Collaborate with other mental health workers and parents to ensure programs are being implemented the same through all environments

Minimum Qualifications:

Active MESpecial Education Certification(required)
Masters Degree in Special Education(preferred)
