Emergency Department APP (NP or PA) in Paynesville, MN

CentraCare -Paynesville Emergency Room is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide services in the Emergency Department of our Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Emergency Medicine team - you will care for patients and families in an acute setting utilizing advanced assessment and physical examination skills to provide high-quality patient care services.  You have access to full lab capabilities and imaging resources.

Schedule

• 1.0 FTE
• Varying shifts, typically 10- or 14-hour shifts - combination of days, evenings, and overnight shifts
• Approximately every other weekend rotation
• Rotating Holiday schedule

Requirements

 To be eligible for this position you must meet the following requirements:

• Completion of a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency
• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
• Current or pending licensure in the State of Minnesota
• ATLS or CALS, ACLS, BLS Certifications
• This position is open to Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners who are interested in providing care in an Emergency Department setting, licensed and able to treat patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics.  

Experience

Position open to new graduates with relevant work experience. 

We would prefer that our candidate have relevant work experience in one of the following areas -

• Emergency Department
• Urgent Care
• Family Medicine
• Walk-In Clinic
