Job responsibilities and skills required for this position:
* *Lead Generation:* Identify potential customers in the areas you are assigned to. This involves researching neighborhoods, using demographic data, and creating a list of properties that may need roofing services.
* *Door-to-Door Sales:* Approach homeowners and businesses in your designated area to introduce your company's roofing services. Be prepared to explain the benefits, answer questions, and provide information about the company.
* *Estimations and Proposals:* Provide on-the-spot estimates and proposals for potential clients, including outlining the scope of work, materials to be used, and pricing. Carry relevant marketing materials and documents.
* *Building Relationships:* Develop and maintain strong relationships with the people you meet. Building trust and rapport is crucial for success in door-to-door sales.
* *Adaptability:* Be prepared for a variety of responses, including rejections. The ability to handle rejection professionally and move on to the next potential customer is essential.
* *Customer Service:* Provide excellent customer service to clients, even after the sale has been made. Address any issues or concerns they may have throughout the roofing project.
* *Meeting Sales Targets:* You may be expected to meet specific sales targets or quotas set by your company. Regular reporting on your sales activities and progress is usually required.
