Job Title: Dual Hotel General Manager – Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites San Diego/Del Mar, RAR Hospitality

Position Overview:

As the Dual Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success and seamless operation of two Hilton-branded hotels – one full-service and one extended stay – in the San Diego/Del Mar area. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to showcase their leadership skills, strategic vision, and passion for delivering unparalleled guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of both hotels, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Financial Management: Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue and profitability goals for each property and drive financial accountability with the hotel leadership teams.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional growth.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining Hilton's brand standards and addressing customer feedback promptly.
  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue through effective strategies and promotions.
  • Revenue Management: Drive revenue optimization, utilize STR data, forecast demand, analyze trends, and set competitive pricing to grow revenue.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with the local community, representing the hotels positively in San Diego.
  • Reporting: weekly and monthly reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders on trends, successes, scorecard, and financial outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably overseeing branded properties, Hilton brands are preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and demonstrated success in achieving revenue and profit targets.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of brand standards and a commitment to delivering superior guest service, Hilton brand experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of the San Diego hospitality market is required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, progressive leadership and with a track record of success.
  • Must have held a senior leadership role for at least 2 years (AGM, Hotel Manager, General Manager).
