Job description
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems in commercial buildings
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best locations for alarm system components
- Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, and control panels
- Provide customer support and training on alarm system operation
- Collaborate with clients to customize alarm system configurations based on their specific needs
- Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance performed
Experience:
- Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or in a related field is preferred
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles
- Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations for low voltage systems
- Experience in alarm system sales is a plus
- Basic locksmithing skills are beneficial
- Possession of any relevant certifications is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for installation and maintenance of alarm system components
- Field service experience is preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools for installation and repair tasks

Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen
- Must have a driver’s license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable using technology, including computers, cell phones, a wide range of applications, and Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be comfortable with heights and enclosed spaces
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work both individually with little supervision as well as part of a team
