Facility Care Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Facility Care Specialist to maintain cleanliness and functionality within our salon. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all occupants. This role plays a crucial part in upholding our organization's standards of cleanliness and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and furniture.
2. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
3. Empty and sanitize trash receptacles and recycling bins, and dispose of waste in accordance with established procedures.
4. Clean and disinfect common areas, such as lobbies, hallways, conference rooms, and break rooms, paying special attention to high-touch surfaces.
5. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and janitorial equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels at all times.
6. Inspect facilities for cleanliness, maintenance issues, and safety hazards, and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
7. Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture and equipment for events, meetings, and special functions.
8. Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required when performing cleaning tasks.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of cleaning duties.
10. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations related to facility care and maintenance.

Schedule Needed: Morning availability preferred.
