Objective

The quality team performs all tasks related to the quality assurances to meet client’s expectations. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all-inclusive.

Responsibilities

1. Adheres to all safety guidelines for the production and handling of materials in the facility. Keeps work area clean and free of hazards

2. Reviews, learns, and follows all Work Standard steps and safety requirements in a constant state of awareness, wearing required personal protective equipment at all times; Q-Point; and all other manufacturing processes to ensure a defect-free product

3. Reports issues or problems to the immediate supervisor

4. Maintains courteous and positive relationships with all co-workers, vendors, visitors and customers

5. Participates in all scheduled group activities, meetings, or training

6. Cross trains in other positions or departments as needed

7. Partners with peers and supervisors during rotation, troubleshooting and training, to improve product quality

8. Inspects parts for compliance to specifications, marking rack if satisfactory. Logs results on Check Sheets provided (Inspection Incoming, Process, Finished products)

9. If necessary, stops production line by the direction of the shift/team lead to contain defect or remove hazard

10. Informs Quality and Production supervisors of situation. When a problem has been corrected and a satisfactory sample run has been made, releases the line to produce parts

11. Assures that defective parts are contained

12. Travels to supplier and customer site as needed

13. Assures all inspector positions on shift are covered

14. Familiarize yourself with how to use gauges, measuring instruments, and inspection tools and manage conditions (Including the completion of the inspection training)

15. Office manager instructions and compliance with requests

16. Other duties as assigned

Essential Functions/Physical Requirements

1. Standing (frequency: constant) up to 4 hours continuously

2. Walking (frequency: frequent) to move about location and around equipment

3. Balancing to walk about the worksite and prevent falling

4. Stooping/squatting/bending (frequency: occasional) to inspect equipment

5. Reaching forward (frequency: constant) to reach parts and place bolts, up to 68 inches to use tools and work computers.

6. Handling/feeling/gripping (frequency: constant) to assemble parts, use hand tools, grip bolts and dust covers.

7. Lifting (frequency: frequent) : Maximum height of equipment : 17ft (Except : Main Air & Electrical Plumbing)

8. Vision/depth perception (frequency: constant) to distinguish objects by sight and judge distance and spatial relationships

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the Quality Control Administrator may be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration/noise. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, or temperature fluctuation in areas of the facility. During facility maintenance, the emulsion may come into contact with the human body.

Required Education/Experience

1. Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Science or Engineering
2. 1 Year Experience in quality control field

1. Fluent in Korean and English
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodology.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
