Warner Funeral Home and Crematory is in our Spencer, IA community and surrounding areas and we have an exciting opportunity as we add a Sales Representative- Funeral Home/Pre-need Specialist to our team.  

As a Sales Representative/Pre-need Specialist at Warner, you have the unique opportunity building relationships with the local community and develop strategies designed to educated, engage, and assist families with advanced planning and funding through life insurance and other related products.

What you’ll do:

• Educate families by developing and delivering advanced planning presentations.
• Become a trusted advisor within the community via group seminars, lunch and learns, and various other networking events and techniques.
• Communicate and connect with individuals and families through direct mail and social media campaigns.
• Meet or exceed set sales targets.

Experience you need to bring:

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably from an insurance, health care, financial or estate planning background- but we are open to any type of sales background!  
• Must have a competitive mindset and sales acumen
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills

Educational Requirements:

• Life insurance license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
