CNC Operator

Primus Aerospace is currently seeking CNC Operator at our Reisterstown, MD facility. We are willing to pay a premium for experienced Machinists, but we are also looking for aspiring machinists looking for an opportunity to start their careers.

Primus Aerospace is a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace, defense & space OEMs / Primes & Tier I suppliers. The company specializes in producing high-tolerance, complex geometry parts; machined out of standard and exotic metals. Primus works directly with all major aerospace manufacturers (e.g., Boeing, Lockheed, Northrop) to provide components to mission critical civilian and defense programs.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Previous CNC Operator experience: mill turn and lathe
• GD&T print reading
• Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, metrology.
• Can do machine set-ups.
• Can indicate vices.
• Coordinate x, y, z
• Experience in a manufacturing environment utilizing lean manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of machining principles
