Business Development Manager

Bloom Partners has been engaged by a Commercial Landscape Company in the Sterling, VA area to recruit and hire a high-energy, relationship-acquiring Business Development Manager (BDM) to join the team.

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client's business and venturing into new clientele while maintaining a strong presence in the HOA industry. You will be at the forefront of cultivating new client relationships, identifying opportunities, and diversifying our portfolio.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Business Growth: Drive business expansion by identifying and pursuing opportunities in other clientele sectors, aiming to reach a 60% HOA and 40% other client ratio.
  • Manage the CRM "Aspire" to its fullest potential to boost the annual pipeline to $6mm - $7mm.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current clients while establishing new ones to expand the book of business.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competition to make informed business development decisions.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, including managing larger jobs within the portfolio.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with our experienced team of long-tenured employees to ensure a seamless client experience and cultivate a family-oriented, supportive, and collaborative environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in commercial landscape maintenance, snow industry, or commercial property management is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Design, or Landscape Architecture is preferred.
