Summary
Warrenton Baptist Tiny Tots is a Christian based preschool that is open year round from 7am-5:30pm daily. We are a loving center with a mission to serve our community. As a staff member of WBTT, we ensure that you are properly trained with procedures and rules within our center as well as guidelines we follow to be licensed by the state. This assistant job would require a daily schedule of 1:00-5:30 Monday-Friday.
Duties
Must be at least 16 years old;
Assist teacher and assistant teacher in preparation of materials, the teacher aide activities will be at the discretion of the head teacher and assistant teacher;
Play and communicate with children; as a positive role model.
Assist with clean up;
Assist with Nap Nannie when requested;
Attend staff meetings;
Required to work TWD as normal hours unless otherwise instructed by the Director;
Attend CPR/AED and First Aid Training (you may apply 2 hours of training from these classes to your yearly requirements);
Job description not limited to these responsibilities.
Assist with afternoon clean up as assigned.
Requirements
Documented experience in working with young children, and an understanding of child development. Will have a high school diploma or GED or in the process of obtaining one. Will show a willingness to assist teacher and assistant teacher with a wide variety of duties. Will confirm a strong Christian belief and exhibit such in his/her professional and personal behavior.
