FEFA LLC is on the lookout for an Internal Tech Leader who will be responsible for overseeing our IT department, managing government IT contracts, and driving technological innovation to support our business goals. This new member of our leadership team will play a key role in shaping our IT strategy, managing our IT team(s), and ensuring the effective delivery of IT services and solutions.

*A few areas of tech focus at this time: Cloud Migration, .net Development, API Infastructure, DevOps Engineering, AI/ML innovation, CyberSecurity Implementation*

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

· Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse IT team, ensuring high productivity and morale.

· Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department.

Government Contracting and Proposals:

· Manage and contribute to acquisition of IT contracts, particularly with government agencies, ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving favorable terms.

· Lead the proposal process for new IT contracts and projects.

Technological Innovation:

· Stay abreast of the latest technological trends and implement innovative IT solutions that support the company's objectives.

· Drive the adoption of new technologies that enhance business efficiency and performance.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

· Develop and execute a strategic IT plan that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.

· Manage IT budgets and resources, ensuring optimal allocation and cost-effectiveness.

Stakeholder Communication:

· Effectively communicate complex IT strategies to non-technical stakeholders, including government officials and business partners.

Cybersecurity and Data Management:

· Robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data should always be a team priority, especially under government contracts.

· Oversee the management and security of IT infrastructure and data assets.

Crisis and Project Management:

· Lead the management of complex IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

· Develop and implement crisis management plans for IT-related emergencies.

Requirements

    • Proven experience as an IT Director or similar leadership role, preferably in a small business environment.
    • Experience in managing government IT contracts. Proposal participation preferred.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure. Previous practitioner work highly preferred.
    • Budget management experience.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • U.S Citizenship

Education and Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Relevant leadership certificates preferred.
