NOW HIRING an HR Superstar Intern
Are you ready to kickstart your career with a splash of HR excitement? Join our team as a Human Resource Intern and dive into the world of HR while sprinkling some fun along the way! As part of our dynamic Human Resources crew, you'll get your hands dirty in various HR tasks while also unleashing your inner office superhero to tackle administrative duties. This internship isn't just about making coffee runs (though you'll master that too), it's about soaking up knowledge, rocking HR projects, and becoming a true HR hero! Plus, you'll be under the watchful guidance of our HR Director and Assistant HR Director, so you'll never be flying solo!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Embark on epic recruitment adventures by helping us find the next generation of municipal superheroes.
- Assist in welcoming new recruits to the team with the warmest of superhero welcomes during onboarding.
- Keep our personnel records in tip-top shape like a true HR wizard.
- Train alongside our HR squad to develop your powers in employee development and training programs.
- Answer the bat signal... uh, I mean, handle inquiries from our awesome employees about HR stuff.
- Team up with us to organize the most legendary HR events and initiatives the city has ever seen!
- Be ready to swoop in and save the day on special HR projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Have a knack for turning mundane tasks into super feats.
  • Possess a secret stash of attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Channel your inner communication champion and charm your way through any situation.
  • Mastered the art of Microsoft Office Suite faster than a speeding bullet.
  • Keep sensitive information under lock and key like a true HR guardian.
  • Bursting with enthusiasm, drive, and a hunger to learn.
  • Previous experience as a superhero sidekick (or intern) in HR or office administration is a plus!
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is required.Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous internship or work experience in an office setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is preferred.
  • Must be highly engaged in the department's goals and be able to work cooperatively with HR's leadership in achieving those goals.
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service to those of internal or external to the department.
  • Must act safely and follow safety standards while at work.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.

DURATION:This heroic journey begins as soon as you don your HR cape and join our team, continuing its thrilling course until mid-August
