Overview:

The Business Office Manager is responsible for the daily business office needs including coordinating all partner relations/Human Resources matters, payroll and other accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

Human Resources/Payroll/Benefits/Leaves

  • Process payroll insuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Coordinates all Human Resources matters including hiring, evaluations, counseling, education, performance improvement plans, terminations, etc..
  • Assist partners and Director with the process and documentation requirements for FMLA, Leave of Absence, Workers Comp light duty letters, etc.
  • Code invoices; reconciles benefits bills, as needed.

Receivables and Payables

  • Oversees billing to private insurers
  • Handles Account Receivable collections
  • Handles Account Payable vendor invoicing
  • Manages resident needs personal accounts
  • Manages all bank deposits and incoming monies

General

  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation; help ensure compliance
  • Performs any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Education: Minimum four year degree in Business or Accounting, or relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Three to five years' experience in a business office dealing with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Human Resources perferred.
    • Experience in a long-term care//nursing home environment.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
