Your role demands:

  • Mastery maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Petsource's high-tech electromechanical systems, with a prime focus on Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
  • Competence in operating our cutting-edge freeze dryer equipment.
  • Expertise in PLC programming, mastering languages such as ladder logic and structured text.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, enabling you to diagnose and efficiently resolve complex matters.
  • Accountability in maintaining precise records and managing maintenance schedules.
  • Teamwork with cross-functional teams, providing succinct technical guidance.
  • Strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations related to electro-mechanical equipment and maintenance.
  • Adaptability to occasionally work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts to address pressing maintenance needs.

Expectations from you:

  • Proven track record as an Electro-Mechanical Technician, with specific proficiency in PLC systems and programming.
  • Extensive experience with freeze dryer equipment maintenance is a plus.
  • Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming languages and in-depth knowledge of PLC troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols related to electro-mechanical equipment and maintenance.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electro-mechanical technology or a related field is an asset.
