Outpatient Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Outpatient Coordinator!

The Administrative Outpatient Coordinator of Outpatient Services provides all the front-line services of the outpatient program offered at the facility; ensuring the program meet the needs of the community and the facility’s performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrativeprocesses and treatment team support systems for all outpatient services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, facilitating orientation, admission and discharge of patients in a timely manner, daily updates of the program census and other duties related to maintaining the quality of the program.

Located on a 37-acre wooded campus in the city of Smyrna, GA on the outskirts of Atlanta, Ridgeview Institute provides a safe, caring environment with Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, Counselors, Activity Therapists and Mental Health Technicians. Treatment services include inpatient and outpatient services and aftercare.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in direct patient care.

License: N/A

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
